Dr. Darrin Waldroup
Senior Pastor
Born and raised in the mountains of Western North Carolina, Dr. Darrin Waldroup was saved at the age of 11, by the Lord Jesus Christ, under the preaching ministry of Dr. Percy Ray. Dr. Darrin has served the Lord for almost 28 years as a Pastor.
Pastor Darrin and his wife Jeanna, currently serve the Lord Jesus Christ at Bethel in Spruce Pine, North Carolina, where God is doing a great work of GRACE! Pastor Darrin and his family are in their 21st year of service at Bethel.
Pastor Darrin’s life-verse is Titus 2:13 -“Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us….”

Rev. Luke Waldroup
Youth Pastor
Rev. Luke Waldroup is born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina. Under the ministry of his father, Luke was saved at 12 years old during a revival meeting, in August 2010. In 2016 Luke surrendered his call to preach at age 18. On August 1st 2022, Bethel voted Luke in to lead the youth and to be the Youth Pastor.
Rev. Adam Edwards
Minister of Music
Rev. Adam Edwards is born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina, in the town of Burnsville. Rev. Adam serves Bethel as the Minister of Music. He and his family, The Edwards Family, travel around the community and abroad ministering to churches in song.
Rev. John Franco
Español Pastor
Rev. John Franco is the Pastor of Iglesia Bautista de las Montaña, which is located on the grounds of Bethel. Rev. Franco has been faithful to serving the Hispanic community.
