The Matter of Your Measure | BCA Chapel
During today’s chapel service at Bethel Christian Academy, Pastor Rem Austin challenged students from Romans 12:3 on the importance of having the right spiritual measure in our lives.
The Apostle Paul reminds believers not to think of themselves more highly than they ought, but to live with humility and faith according to the measure God has given.
Pastor Austin walked through three powerful truths:
1️⃣ The Measure That Was Missing – When pride or unbelief causes us to ignore the faith God has placed within us.
2️⃣ The Measure That Was Mediocre – When we settle for average Christianity instead of fully surrendering to God’s purpose.
3️⃣ The Measure That Was Monumental – When faith grows and God uses a life fully yielded to Him.
Students were reminded that God has given each believer a measure of faith, and what we do with that measure determines the impact our life will have for Christ.
Romans 12:3 (KJV)
“For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
A powerful chapel message calling students to humility, faith, and faithful stewardship of what God has placed in their lives.
