After walking through green pastures, still waters, right paths, dark valleys, and prepared tables, we arrive at the glorious conclusion of Psalm 23:

"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever." — Psalm 23:6 (KJV)

The Christian life is not a journey without difficulty, but it is a journey with a destination. The Shepherd never intended for His sheep to remain in the valleys forever. He is leading His people to higher places—toward His presence, His promises, and ultimately His Father's house.
