Each step on this road reveals another powerful moment in the story of redemption.

Today we come to Gabbatha — the place where Jesus stood before Pilate and the final earthly judgment was pronounced.

“When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.”

At this place of judgment, the innocent Lamb of God was condemned so that guilty sinners could be forgiven.
